Headed to dbah yesterday for Fosters Bday. Was so fun we surfed all day. it was kinda onshore in the morning but still super fun just surfng with the boys. Didnt take photos of the waves as i couldnt leave my stuff ln the beach. But Foster filmed for a bit to get spme footage for his next vid which will be out soon................

Doc: You’ve a pretty big (and well deserved) rep as charging damn hard. Round 1 SIC – your wipeout wave – what was going through your head taking that one on? It just wasn’t possible from the start and you went hard anyway.

GT: Cheers for that compliment Doc. It's not often you get encouragement in this sport funnily enough. Some people are just too set on the mentality that to get bigger yourself you need not only to surf amazing but put other people down and big note yourself. Who on earth started the dog eat dog notion anyway. Its horrible, who wants to be around a person that is so self focused they walk all over you to get what they want. So I want to give props to Griz, he and I are both working hard along similar lines in the sport to grow and be successful in what we do and last time we surfed together he just randomly encouraged me for no reason at all. And it made me feel so amazing. Lets see the love come back into the sport no matter how much we want to achieve something.

Back to the wave, I honestly never think about the negative aspects of what could be. I just believe in my heart I can make it and not think about much else, I know I have a fleet of angels watching over me as I take on intense waves, because I am doing what I am called to do at this moment in my life. After all he who hesitates will probably get destroyed anyway. You’re better off giving it %110 and not dwelling on all the other stuff. Keep it simple. No regrets.

I think alot of people should try and relate to this in some way or another

We were all standing on the rocks all 5 boys just cheering Woo woo on every wave just laughing as he ducked his head into 0.2ft barrels and smacked his head as he went into a spin, just laughing. We were all just cheering him on as he cuts his arm up in the process of trying to get in, Funny Stuff. But he made up for it with a decent barrel closeout he got which ended him up onto the dry rock ledge sticking out

Jordo (bottom right) Caught this one from all the way near the rock at Secrets and comes in to backdoor it at turtles, but then everyone decides to call PARTY WAVE and drop in on him leaving jordo the deepest to get the big rock sticking a metre out of the water in the face. Poor Bloke.

Sorry guy ive finally been able to update this thing!!! Here are a couple from last Saturday. I skipped out on the Sunshine Coast Bodyboard Club for this and it definately paid off. Have had a couple more session since this but these photos were the standout =)

Hey Everyone, Sorry I havent been writing on here for a while, ive just been surfing my brains out!!!! Have been surfing rock and platties and its been pumping on the high tide, with some hollow barrels sucking up dry. You could catch it from Turtles, then ride it all the way into rock and you would just get so deep and pitted, wait for the shots to find out.

I Wasnt the only one surfing though with a couple of people skipping out on the comp to surf rock. So many people got pitted but not many people were launching besides the locals.

Headed out with Karl Angell to get some water shots with me and Dylan Foster. He said there were some epic ones so should have them by Monday.

Anyways, Will take some more photos by me very soon, and will get back into the habit of putting up photos more frequently =) Cheers

Headed to This unknown point on tuesday and took some photos as it was flat and a fun day for kook mal riders. Saturday = my long boogin day so ill have some more of them up.

Work for me has been non existant so itll be awhile till me new board and lets hope Maccas gives me mor than 2 and a half hours a week!!!!=)

There was a cool little electric powered jetski that was radio controlled and was just messin around in the lineup and snakin the malriders. It brought many joy to the little kid controlling it. ha

Drew Riley Innocend. What can I say? He absolutley shreds. He came out late in the afternoon after it wasnt really breaking anymore. He would get a wave, do about 15 perfect spins, rolls reverse floats on each wave and would ride it all the way in, get out, walk around and jump off the rocks again to go and get some more waves. He was the only one out and after surfing amazing waves Down South, South Coast In Hawaii, I couldn't believe that he still has time and fun surfing powerless waves. I basically filled up my memory from each each wave he caught. We all thought he was gonna get out cos it was pretty crap. i am 14 and have been riding almost 2 years now

Branden: You love rock and that whole area. What do u love about it?

rock is just a beginners wave. gives u good experience. i just like the fact wherever you go around that your almost guaranteed to find a wave.

Branden: Youve only been ridin for a little while, and ive seen you progress man. How does a big guy like you get so much on ur Bread Rolls? I rekon its all about the landing. everyone can do the roll. but its if you can still keep going either in white water or set up for another trick.

i give quality riding with a face you can love :)

well i want fun. like most people eyy. id love to get sponsored go on world tour thatd be sick.

well yeah i work on certain things. like how i do my rolls 99 percent of the time. cause i worked ages on them. now im starting to work on backys and inverts. and my inverts arent looking to shabby.

man a sweet 4 second barrel is sick. but when u pull off a huge invert or ars. the vibe in the water is mad. so i will go with boosts

screw it. skool is good for smart people. if your not natuarally smart. or not keen to learn. then u my aswell start working.

haha influences. jordan and chris. basically taught me how to bodyboard. and watching rawlins and hardy and stuff. so yeh

i hate it how they get so cut if u accidently snake em if u dont see them. or the tell u to piss off cause ull get a wave while there in the white wash getting smashed. some people should just relax eyy

Pocket Randoms II

Pocket was delivering fun wedges all day. But more earlier was better. There was a large lineup of some cool mates that ive met through bodyboarding such as Matt from My Varsity Co (absolute legend!!), Yahn Steinhous (Shredder), Marcus (below, Top 2), Lachlan Cramsie (who's now riding for INVERTED, Congrats bro) Kyle, and of course Jordo and Foster. Was great fun with me and Matt occasionally Shreddin it up on the knee and Yahn just shreddin it to pieces!! Was great fun till a hoard of Kneeboarders (paddleboards) started snaking all the bodyboarders thinking they were owning this peak that we had been on all morning. After everyone giving them a hellofalot of abuse, the crowds died down till they left.

Will be heading out tomozza to grab some photos of some underground groms riding the boogs. So will have some of that up as well as an interview. Am full as I just had a massive feast of Greasy Pizza, garlic Bread and all that really healthy food. So all the runnin I did this week was for nothin. But will make up for it when I go for 6hr surf tomorro. So keep posted folks.
